Surviving Weimar Look Book
Appropriating the term Look Book (a Look Book is a catalog used by fashion design houses to promote their current collection). This Look Book uses imagery of the garments produced for the SL MODE: One Size Fits All, a project in Weimar Germany. The Look Book imagery suggests a different notion of beauty and fashion, that of an overweight forty-year-old woman showcasing herself as a contemporary fashion model.
